Server Support - Avaya Support Engineer - MS - ITS

Common work tasks include:
•    Assist with configuration and installation of new Avaya systems
•    Check health of Avaya environment including trunking and adjunct systems
•    Work trouble and programming tickets
•    Acting as tier III support for more complicated troubles
•    Work with Telecom providers to address circuit issues
•    Deployment of new products and technologies in the Avaya portfolio

Candidates must possess:
•    Minimum of 15 years of experience with Avaya systems
•    Experience with the following Avaya products:
o    Communication Manager 7.1.3
o    Session Manager 7.1.3
o    Call Management System R18
o    System Manager 7.1.3
o    Work Force Optimization 15.2
•    Experience with the following equipment:
o    Avaya G650/450/430s
o    Spira SBCs
•    In depth knowledge and experience with real-time communications, voice, and video protocols including H.323 and SIP
•    Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and QoS
Candidates should be able to:
•    Be able to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner
•    Create accurate documentation for user consumption on new products and services that are rolled out
•    Train junior level staff on Avaya technologies

Preference will be given to candidates that possess the following:
•    Broadsoft Hosted VoIP products
•    Ability to automate routine tasks via python scripting
